Thank you for applying to teach with Teacherpresto!
Please keep in mind:
We are accepting applications from qualified, professional, and experienced teachers. In your application, please provide specific details regarding your qualifications and teaching experience.
At Teacherpresto, we only teach English. Your profile should include your qualifications for teaching English and any specialized topics in English, although you are encouraged to discuss your fluency/proficiency in other languages and your ability to help students from a wide variety of language backgrounds.
Teachers set their own hourly rates, and earn 85% of their hourly rate for each lesson they teach. Payments will be made in Euros either directly into your bank account or via paypal (only in EU).
Teacherpresto teachers conduct their lessons using the integrated video platform, face to face (when authorized), or by phone (when authorized). Teachers do not teach using Skype, Google Hangouts or any other method. Classes provided by any other method not specified will not be paid.
Face to face classes must be verified with a student signature on the Teacherpresto timesheet.
Telephone classes must be verified with a call log verification.
Teacherpresto has an automatic booking system where students can book any available time slot on teachers' calendars, where availability is set by the teacher. Please make sure your availability is always up-to-date, blocking out doctors' appointments, etc.
Cancellation policy: Teacherpresto has a 12 hour advance notice policy. Students can reschedule or cancel lessons without penalty with 12 or more hours advance notice of the lesson’s scheduled time. Within 12 hours, a student can only cancel a lesson for a 50% refund. The teacher will receive the remaining 35%.
Applicants will be contacted personally by Teacherpresto, via our video platform, to confirm acceptance. Your Teacherpresto profile will not be activated until this step has been carried out.
Photographic identity (passport, identity card) may be required to complete registration.
Teachers in Spain:
