Terms and Conditions
• We are accepting applications from qualified,
professional, and experienced teachers. In your
application, please provide specific details regarding
your qualifications and teaching experience.
• At
Teacherpresto, we only teach English. Your profile should
include your qualifications for teaching English and any
specialized topics in English, although you are
encouraged to discuss your fluency/proficiency in other
languages and your ability to help students from a wide
variety of language backgrounds.
• Teachers set their
own hourly rates, and earn 85% of their hourly rate for
each lesson they teach. Payments will be made in Euros
either directly into your bank account or via paypal
(only in EU).
• Teacherpresto teachers conduct their
lessons using the integrated video platform, face to face
(when authorized), or by phone (when authorized).
Teachers do not teach using Skype, Google Hangouts or any
other method. Classes provided by any other method not
specified will not be paid.
• Face to face classes
must be verified with a student signature on the
Teacherpresto timesheet.
• Telephone classes must be
verified with a call log verification.
•
Teacherpresto has an automatic booking system where
students can book any available time slot on teachers'
calendars, where availability is set by the teacher.
Please make sure your availability is always up-to-date,
blocking out doctors' appointments, etc.
Cancellation Policy
• Teacherpresto has a 12 hour advance notice policy.
Students can reschedule or cancel lessons without penalty
with 12 or more hours advance notice of the lesson’s
scheduled time. Within 12 hours, a student can only
cancel a lesson for a 50% refund. The teacher will
receive the remaining 35%.
• Applicants will be
contacted personally by Teacherpresto, via our video
platform, to confirm acceptance. Your Teacherpresto
profile will not be activated until this step has been
carried out.
• Photographic identity (passport,
identity card) may be required to complete registration.
Teachers in Spain:
• Any teachers in Spain registering with a Spanish
NIE rather than their native country Social Security/NI
(or equivalent) number, and who wish to receive payment
into a Spanish bank account, will,, by law, be subject to
a 15% deduction for IRPF.)
